YWAM Hockey Founders and Directors
Glen and Lorrain Bueckert
Glen is the head coach of YWAM Hockey and has many years of experience in this great sport. As a fiery, passionate goaltender, Glen played his minor hockey in Prince George BC, then continued on through Jr. A. in Penticton with the Broncos and Major Junior with Victoria Cougars of the WHL. He then coached in the BC Jr League and then for many years in the Campbell River, BC Minor Hockey Assoc. He has over 30 years of coaching and hockey camp experience.
Glen and Lorrain's passion for young people and hockey, with their desire to see God honored in hockey rinks around the world, brought them out of the business world a few years ago to start YWAM Hockey.
Glen and Lorrain were both born and raised in British Columbia and have lived in their home province most of their lives. They have 2 grown up sons, both of whom played many years of hockey.
