Glen is the director and head coach of YWAM Hockey and has many years of experience in this great sport. As a fiery, passionate goaltender, Glen played his minor hockey in Prince George, then continued on thru Jr. A. in Penticton with the Broncos and Major Junior with Victoria Cougars of the WHL. He then coached in the BC Jr League and for many years in the Campbell River, BC Minor Hockey Assoc. He has been a hockey school instructor for many years and has developed a number of schools of his own.
Jan played his minor hockey in Penticton and won the provincials in Midget Rep in 1969. He made the jump to Junior Hockey and played for the Penticton Broncos from 1970-1972. Following that he attended St. Louis University on a four year college scholarship and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. It was then that Jan went on to play pro hockey with the Houston Aero’s organization with their minor league affiliate. Jan was drafted in the 11th round of the 1974 NHL Entry Draft, played one year of pro and then settled back in Penticton. In 1979 Marc Pezzin hired Jan to be an assistant coach with the Penticton Knights. The Knights then went on to win three BC Hockey Championships in a row. Jan was also very active in the Okanagan Hockey School for 17 summers. Jan is the director of the Penticton Vees Mentorship Program. .
Don was born in Victoria, BC in 1957, and spent most of his younger years in the prairies. He graduated from Bible College in 1980, and spent the next 26 years pastoring churches in Alberta, the Northwest Territories and in BC. He married Lorraine in 1979, and has 3 sons, 2 daughters - in - law, and 2 grandsons. He has always enjoyed hockey, in fact he’s a bit of a rink-rat... a sports freak actually!
